LAUREN ROBINSON
Lauren is a counselor with Montgomery County Public Schools and the founder and owner of Kid Concierge, LLC
She received her Bachelor’s Degree in education from West Virginia University and her Master’s Degree in school counseling from The Johns Hopkins University. Lauren taught fourth grade for four years, then sixth grade for four years in Montgomery County Public Schools while completing her Master’s Degree in school counseling. She is currently working part time as a counselor at Silver Creek Middle School, but worked as a school counselor at Chevy Chase Elementary school for several years before being asked to join the Silver Creek team for the school’s opening year. Lauren has extensive experience working with children and their families going back to teaching dance to young children, directing summer camps, tutoring, and her experience with Montgomery County Public Schools. During her time with Montgomery County Public Schools, she has managed classrooms/groups of children, implemented effective behavioral interventions at school, helped students strengthen social skills and work on emotional regulation, lead educational meetings for students with emotional and educational needs, analyzed educational and psychological reports, provided feedback to parents regarding behavioral interventions at home/when to seek help/finding that help, individual and group counseling, created and implemented a mindfulness program, and much more. She founded Kid Concierge in the fall of 2021 and has helped numerous families since then.
